Hi can any body tell some NGO to make an advertise to create awarness about conservation of water???

or can some body tell me address of NGO who works for water conservation???

I want to request that they sould come to our society and i can show them weastage of water by residents of our society people.

some public tap connections, few hotels, etc.

Waste of water in big society,

dear friends,
i stay in big society and there is one family live below us. im seeing since many years the wastage of water by them.

every morning they start giving water to their plants by tube and over flow the pots and wash all plants every day and then also wash whole terrace every day which is pure waste of money.

even they have kept their washing machine on terrace which runs almost 3-4 times in day and all waste water is left in our parking.

i tried to complint about the same but society officer berers do not listen it.

if anybody tells them they insult him by - tumhara kya ja raha hay?? ham paisa dete hay PMC ko. Tum tumhara dekho.

idont know how to stop this family from wasting precious water.

Well, instead of pointing on others that he does this - she does this, why don't we all start saving water right from our homes?

How many of u just leave the tap open while brushing teeth? how many of u waste water during washing dishes @ home? Learn the importance of water, implement it at ur homes, this would be a real start.

There are techniques like rain water harvesting, which everone can do in their gardens or premices at no extra cost.

yes i do save water at my home, i dont let tap open while brusing not let my family members do that.
always shut lights and fans when not in room,
switch gizer as soon as water is hot.
switch gas burner off when work is done,
well about rain water harvesting i hve suggested my society management dont know when it will be applied.

Please make awarness about water conservation, rain water conservation, recycling of water, desaliation of water.

Tips -
Dont keep water tap runing while brusing your teeth.

while taking bath use Bucket insteed of shower as shower needs more water.

tell house maid to first apply liquid soap or cleaner to all utencils and then put it under water tap and dont flow water from tap while applying soap to utencils.

use washing machine at minimum water usage and put only recommended cloth load only.

for white clothes load separate washing machine.

replace wishers of taps periodically as leaking of 1 drop whole night is equals to wastage of 2 Gallons of water.

use wash tanks for your toilet / commode.

swip floor with wet cloth insteed of washing it.

dont give water to plants with water tube connected to tap insteed use small mug and bucket of water and put only sufficient water to plant.

to clean leaves of plants use bottle sprey.

dont get me wrong, i always like to read your suggestions as they are very interesting, but im not sure if we 100-1000 users can make a difference.

Making things practical is totally in our hand. Ultimately who would get the benefit? It is each one of us who get the benefit of saving water, power and fossil fuels. If nobody cares, one day earth would be a red burning planet with no living being on it in the near future. So, its a good move for every one of us to start doing things that are practical at individual level and spread awareness.

yes dear we can make the difference. now we are 10 may be in next 2 months we will grow to 50 and in year wewill grow 100.

saving is also done bu recurring deposits 5 or 10 rupee a day will create huge amount in 10 or 15 years.

just start educating your acquentences or family members or relatives, remember educate kids they are better teachers for their parents and other elders.

Few more suggessions for water conservaton -

You are thirsty - you take full glass of water and drink half and throw rest- do you?? thats wrong.
The right method is take only quarter of glass of water and finish it first and then take again if you want.
when guests come and you offer water then please offer water in small glasses and if one of the glass is unused then put that water again in container.

if anybody leaves water in glass then insteed of throwing it in sink put that water for plants in your garden.

everybody likes shining cars and bikes but dont wash cars and bikes by flowing water or bucket full of water. insteed take a wet cloth and wipe your vehicle. your car or bike will be shining in just 2 mugs of water. isnt it saving>??

please save water dear friends, if you dont one day we all will die of water scarcity.

Collect rain water... i mean those who've balcony, garden etc in their residence can collect rain water and use it for cleaning/washing etc....

See I think,when you see somebody wasting water just ask them to stop wasting ,If you see the tap is not sutt off you do it sutt it off.Keep on doing this one day the peoples will realise it.

It is only possible With the strong determination and everbody's efforts toward saving water.

there are still well educated - uneducated people i see in my society who daily wash their terraces, drain their washing machine 3 times daily in open of our society.

when will these rich and sofisticated people shall stop wasting water i dont know??

im planning to print one letter and dropp it in letter box of all those who waste water.

every body shold do same thing in their own society.
